BRMB: "Catch the Studio Action Live
You see exactly what our DJs and their celebrity guests get up to in the studio, by watching them live on our studio webcam."

so I telephoned Tim Lichfield on * BMRB 96.4 BRMB Request Line: 0121 250 0964
and had a brief chat and asked him to turn for 10 seconds to face the web-cam so that we could see his face. So he struck a daft pose !!!

He invited me on air so, I sent greetings to my daughters in Copenhagen and Nottingham or maybe at home with her mum in Stoke, and to all my writing friends in Solihull and Brum.

He was on when the earthquake hit Dudley and rocked this house

Google Groups: View Thread "Earthquake": "Yes the flats rocked in B37
a tremor rather than a quake

BRMB said up to Walsall also

the whole house moved and swung backwards and forwards about twice
seventh floor and scary
my heart beat very fast

I got half dressed - too much imagination was this house going to do a Ronan Point ??

No gas cookers here

It felt as if the house had been hit by a truck so looked out of windows 3 sides and got a neighbour to look out the fourth

we are close to the airport flight path so I looked for flames in the sky
quiet in all directions
no blue blink either"

BTW XMAS lunch one hour after the last a-b pill
tuna fish in olive oil on a large mixed salad
of celery, lettuce, 5 spring onions, cauliflower florets, 2 carrots, a splash of french cider vinegar and a dab of ready made coleslaw - 10p marked down. a slice of fresh brown bread.

As a starter I ate three-quarters of an orange, I reserved the last quarter for an experimental cup of tea . . instead of lemon - like russian tea. Success.

For afters coffee, skimmed milk no sugar of course and another slice of brown bread and a corner of STILTON cheese - no port this time :-((
