This Family comes from two east European regions: Silesia (once a Prussian province and part of the German empire, now part of Poland) and Transylvania (once a province of the Austro-Hungarian empire, now part of Romania).
In Silesia, the counties of Strehlen, Ohlau, Brieg, Nimptsch (Reichenbach) and Breslau.
In Transylvania, the villages between Schäßburg and Mediasch, on both sides of the Kokel valley.
